Seriously, since I've been here, I've never seen so many in one place ever. Maybe it is a Colorado Springs thing? However, I did have 3 following me along I-25 when I rode into Denver earlier today. I felt cool.

There are a lot of Jeeps in general. This past weekend we camped along Middle St. Vrain trail and I don't think we saw a single Libby come by out of a hundred or so vehicles, 85% were Wranglers of some variety. What I have noticed is a LOT more Patriots on the road. They've been getting a lot of good press lately, they're cheap, and appeal to a wide audience. And yes, they are capable of light off-roading. Arapahoe County has six new Patriots, and a Compass, but had been buying the Liberties for a while, we probably have 10 or more. They tend to buy with other Counties and the State, so you'll begin to see a lot more Patriot government vehicles out there. But you're right. I think the Libby has been the staple daily driver for a lot of off-road enthusiasts, so you see more of them than the other models, for now

X2 when my wife and I moved up here a couple of years ago we were amazed at how many Jeeps were up here. Once we were in a parking lot and counted how many Jeep brand vehicles as compared to others and there was over 50% Jeeps.

In Phoenix and all the other places I lived in AZ, there were a tons of Jeeps. Mostly Wranglers and Grand Cherokees, so seeing a bunch of those doesn't really surprise me. There were enough Libertys around, but not like here. When I go out today, maybe I'll count how many I see. LOL but watch, I won't see one.

I'm liking CO very much. I was here last year and planned to move. I got here on Monday. I'm going camping at 11 mile canyon later today. I can't wait!

One thing I have found, at least with my 06, is it does extremely good in the snow. My wife hates driving in the snow but she will drive the Libby. That speaks volumes about its capabilities!

LOL an outback. Environmentalist hippies drive Subarus. I guess that fits.

Anyways on my trip to the store and to get lunch, I saw 12 Liberty's.

That is a lot imo. In Phoenix, I would have seen 4.

Hey now, I'm one of those Jeep AND Subaru owners! There are a lot of us out here too. Nothing wrong with a Subie, they'll go more places than an average car and last a LOT longer than most. Throw that label at the hybrids, of which Subaru has none. And, absolutely nothing wrong with trying to save the environment, someone's gotta do it! All ya'll need to quit hatin' on Boulder, it's a beautiful City.

But, I'm actually trying to sell my Legacy right now. Plan is to get a Wrangler Unlimited in '10 (or whenever they offer a diesel).

Boulder is not really part of the US, it more like Luxemburg.

Soiux Falls South Dakota is another place over run with KJ's.The last time I was home and went there it was like every 10th vehicle was a KJ.

I was in Denver in january and was at a stop light and in all 4 directions the first row of vehicles were KJ's(mine included),that was 8 KJ's.Of course the other drivers where checking mine out pretty good.

LOL I used to live in Flagstaff, AZ. There were plenty of environmentalists with Subaru's there too. Boulder and Flagstaff have quite a bit in common, to be honest. The type of people that live there are similar. Nothing wrong with it either.

Apparently, that makes you an environmentalist hippie! Exciting  Maybe I'll start the club and keep my Legacy.

hey... someones gotta fight to keep oil refineries out of animal refuges and buy things made out of recycled/biodegradable materials.

if not subaru owners, then who???

as a matter of fact... i think subaru might be entirely run by hippies:

Consider this: When you carry out your trash at home on the next collection day, you'll be sending more trash to landfills than the entire Subaru manufacturing plant in Lafayette, Indiana (SIA). The Subaru plant was the first auto assembly plant to achieve zero landfill status - nothing from its manufacturing efforts goes into a landfill. It's all reused and recycled.
