Ted, it's about 1.5 hours to Bailey, and with your brakes, do not take your jeep. I did this trail several years ago with new brakes, and I was standing on my brake peddle going down. The slope of my windshield on the XJ is 45*, and the graduation tassles that were hanging from the rear view mirror were laying flat on the windshield. Wish I had brought a crowbar to pry the seat from my crack. Have fun gents, been their, done that, not going again. Nothing really wrong with the trail, but I have a big phobia of edges, and the whole ridge of red cone up the easy side and down the steep side was one big edge to me. The off camber washout going down the steep side really flexed up my XJ and that got pretty creepy. Biggest thing I recommend is check your brakes. If you have any doubt about your brakes, don't do it. Brakes are cheaper than medivacs and funerals.
Scroll all the way to the bottom to see what Red Cone was like when I ran it:

That’s hilarious rock lizard…………………….I’d be the same way,
except I’d be crapping some bricks seeing my tassels laying flat on my windshield.
So, did you guys make the run? I heard some snow was flying last night?????????????????? Fun times.
