For any of the utah guys interested, utahoffroad.com club is running up near 5 mile pass. Love to see some of you guys come out and represent. " This trip will be focused on exploring the canyons in the Sheeprock mountains. Several cool sites have been identified, so we'll be all over the area. The wheeling won't be too hardcore, but the snow will make it fun and challenging. On the way home, we'll stop and hit Rattlesnake and Constrictor to satisfy our need for rockcrawling. When: Saturday November 26, 2005 at 10:00 AM Where: Meet at the Smith's in Lehi where Highway 73 meets Redwood road (Highway 68). Just take Highway 73 west from I-15. Go through Lehi, and meet up with the group in the Smith's parking lot. We'll be leaving PROMPTLY at 10:00 AM (unlike the usual 10:30), so don't be late! Man, I have only biked that area. It sure is nice. I think I will be out of town, But (and this is a big butt) I think I will try to make it. Strika. |

Cool, well maybe next time then. with snow coming won't be doing much 4x4ing, however there is the west desert and also some trails out by the great salt lake, so we'll see. later |

I cant play but ENJOY and let us know how cool it was and how unpleasent for us we missed it... "CANT WAIT FOR THE SNOW HERE LOOKING FORWARD TO TRYING TO STICK THE LIBBY A FEW TIMES OR SO?" goin out sunday to call a few dogs might get a few pics of some "rough Country" just read the article on removing the front bumper assy. too cool cant wait to get started Chicken |

Well we were 1 day to late, the snow store hit sat when we ran and once we got up to 7000ft towards the mine the road become very difficult, snowy and icy. Only KJ representing 
6" of snow and underneath solid thick sheet of ice, impassible. 
Alot of people showed up 
hiked up to the mine, was locked but some ruins

Looks like fun. I wish I could have made it, but I was wandering around the zoo in Tucson, comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. Came back to sub-freezing temps and snow... |
