Post subject:  Moving to COLORADO 1/09

It's 99.9% a go. This morning the guy I have been talking with since June finally made me an offer I cannot refuse; I asked for 24 hrs to give him my final answer.

Since talks between us broke down, he's gone through two reps in UT and in frustration offered me a job this morning.

He wants someone on board by CES in January he's offered:

Stay in his home (in CO) for free and he'll feed me for the first 60 days; after that I move to UT.

If I say "yes", he'll call on my accounts and pay me comm starting in Dec

The state of UT will be mine for the home division and I get the entire region for car (same deal as JL).

Although there is no money in car right now, it does give me the chance to schedule trips into CO the week before LOST trail rides just like I did when I was with JL. And for the first 60 days, we can hang out as if I wasn't a Utahn! :D

This is a crazy turn of events for me and I am very excited about it. I feel somewhat vindicated by my return to The Rockies.

Thanks for reading.

That's cool! Are you going to be back in the SLC area?

I officially accepted the job this AM. I will be in CO by week 3 of Jan. I probably will make my first trip to UT during the final week of Jan and move out there in March. Technically, I can move to any part of UT I want, but SLC makes the most sense since that's where the business is. In 07, I lived in Draper.

I do look forward to hanging out with you guys again, it's been a long strange trip.

I don't know when exactly I will be there; most likely during the 3rd week in Jan. Would anyone be willing to help me unload my trailer? Only a couple of pieces of furniture, mostly boxes. and the heaviest thing is my tool box, but it's on wheels.

Hey, I live in Monument.

I don't own my Liberty anymore, but I still have a Jeep. 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Had fun in the Liberty up on Mt. Herman here. I haven't had the chance to take the GC up, but I will next year when the snow melts. It gets pretty deep up on the mountain. As soon as it quits snowing so much, I'll give it a bath and get some pics up on my website.

Anyway, let me know where you are staying and maybe I can pop in and say Hi.

My arrival in Monument is late evening 1/19 and I will be unloading in the morning of 1/20. I know people have jobs and whatnot so I understand if you can't help me out.

Maybe we could get together for dinner or something?
