Well, I drove up to Cheyenne last night and picked up the new Rubi rims and MTRs. Gary and Missy were very nice and cut me an awesome deal on these. They also had a nicely built XJ and a TJ. Gary noticed my LOST sticker and said he'd check out the site. Very cool! Anyway, here are some pics (driveway crawling...I think that's one step down from mall crawling). You can't tell very well from the pics, but the new rims probably move the tires at least an inch outward and really make the wheel well appear more filled out. After seeing the change I doubt I'll ever put my other rims and tires back on so if anybody is interested let me know. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

What's the size of the Rubis and MTR's you have on the KJ? What are the sizes and tires you are willing to part with? |

On the Jeep: Rubicon "Moab" Rims 16X8 w/ 5.25 backspacing MTRs 245/75/16 (load rating E) Now sitting in the corner of my garage: 03 Limited rims 16X7 w/ 5.5 backspacing 245/75/16 Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo (LT - Load rating C) My "old" tires came with a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty and currently have 30,000 on them. Given how they are wearing I'd say you'll get another 20,000 easily. If you're interested in these I'll need to check with my wife (yes, I'm whipped) and see what she thinks of the new MTRs. She's out of town currently so I can't do anything quite yet. My only thought is she might not like the noise level. I don't think it's too bad, but we have different priorities. ![]() |

Those are the perfect wheels and tires for the KJ. I wish I could afford them... Anyway, sweet KJ. |
