Took me 4 hours of fighting just to keep off a ship... Did the math today and I have 12 Years of Sea duty, 1 year of neutral duty, and 4 years on shore... Now they wanted me to do another 3 onboard ship after just finishing 3 years. Told them in typical F'n Old Salt fashion, what I thought of that. Then there was much gnashing of teeth. Finally was able to squeeze out Staff duty, but lost out on the location... Still Really pissed about the whole thing. |

I (we) could always canx our spouse colocation. I would go to Denver As a geograpic bachelor and Jenny would go to Norfolk with the kids. See each other a few times a year. Pay for two residences and travel expenses. Problem is with all the changes to the miltary over the past year there isn't much left for us. |

Sarah and I wanted to go back to New Mexico; however, we had to move to Montana due to the job situation. With time, we’ll eventually be back in the Land of Enchantment.  And with time, you guys will be back in Colorado.
