The countdown is on. We leave for Ouray in 1 week. Will probably overnight in Pueblo the spend a few hours in Howard/Salida visiting some friends. We've been looking forward to this trip for a long time. We will be somewhat limited on what we can do since there will be another family in a 5 day old Mazda 3 with us. We have a day trip planned for Moab and one for Mesa Verde. I'm thinking of this trip as a scouting trip for next year when the KJ will have a few trail worthy additions and the others can find something else to do when I leave for a trail ride. |

Well I'm going to be there the same time you are. Come wheel a couple trails in the KJ. Actually most of the trails are just fine for a stock KJ. Thanks Eddo. I wish I could make some ~firm plans, but with two families, 2 kids, 3 days booked for road trips...I'm just the driver most of the time. I printed out the details on where you're staying though and hope to be in the area some time. Our paths may cross...Silver KJ with OK plates, LOST sticker on the back and one soon to be on the front license plate mount. |
