diesel, any concerns about the pine bark beetles hitting your Zuni mountains / Cibola National Forest area?

We have no problems with Bark Beetle. Actually, I’m here in New Mexico for a week before we head back up to Montana. We're in the process of getting everything moved.

My NM buddies in Timberlake got more snow then we did here in Montana, but they didn't have near the extreme cold temperatures that we had here. At one point in time, Timberlake had over 4’ feet of total accumulation on the ground. The biggest difference is the clear blue sky that NM offers almost daily whereas MT is cloudy/grey more often. I'd take the sun any day.

No, I thought about it though........ I'm employed through EDC (Educational Development Center) at Gallup/McKinley County Schools; however, I will be working mainly at Ramah.

That's going to work out perfect for you then. Where will you live until the house is done? Tribal? You guys get any wind up there yesterday?

Sarah landed a teaching job at Ramah, so we'll be living in teacher housing until we can get a house built, which could be a few years.

We left Montana on Sunday, so we missed all the storms. Billings, MT had a tornado go through and do some damage. We're in NM at the moment, but we’ll be going back to Montana tomorrow.

I was looking the other day and saw that Montana had loan forgiveness in Sped and was wondering if you guys had loans and/or knew about this?

Yeah, there are several State and Federal loan forgiveness programs for SPED. We took advantage of most of those programs; however, we keep moving so we haven’t got the full loan forgiven. I think we are down to $20,000 for the two of us.

Speaking of Montana, we officially left the state today. We are in Estes Park, CO for a few days. :CAMPING:

That's cool. My wife has hers down to $43K. 2 degrees. That sucks. We have been talking about going back to Montana instead of Alaska. She doesn't want to be that far away from our son. He scored a 28 on his ACT and would get some great merit money from MU or MSU. We once hiked RMNP on the west side in the Never Summer Range. I was sore for a week afterwards.

Well, we’re officially settled here in NM. The weather is great and the green chili is good. :SOMBRERO:

Glad you made it back. I miss that green chili although I still have some chili's in the freezer from last fall. I made some pork green chili last weekend.(still not as good as down there)
