I know we are all real busy, and the club has gone to the wayside a little, and I would like to revive it (yes I know my Jeep is still on jackstands...so don't use that as a cop out).

Today, I worked with one of my scouts on his eagle project replanting trees in the Hayman burn area. We were working/volunteering with CUSP (Coalition for the Upper South Platte). These guys do forest replanting, trail building, watershed reconstructing, etc in the burn area and are always looking for volunteers. Their website is http://www.uppersouthplatte.org

As a club would you all be interested in working either on trails or on re-forestation? We had about 30 of us today, and planted 250 trees in about 3 hours.

So if you all have ideas, please let me know. I can contact Mark and we can see when where he needs help sometime this summer or even early fall (they work year round).
