I don't think there is a formal process for joining LOST Rockies as of yet. We are trying to get everything done to incorporate the club but that is a work in progress. I think that everyone here uses their KJ as a daily driver but we do wheel them on more than just dirt roads. Check out the link in my sig for some pictures of Rockies runs.

Memphis,

If you want to join LOST Rockies, there are some initiations required.

First, you must climb Longs Peak and plant a LOST Rockies flag at the top. We have a group of initiates going next weekend. You can join them.

Second, you must a replica Jeep KJ around with you for one month. If another LOST Rockies member sees you without it, you will have to pick up the tab at the next Rockies meeting. Brother Ted (USAFCOP) will give you the replica KJ.

Third, you must visit Sing Sing nightclub and request to sing a solo song in front of a Saturday night crowd. The song is: "I am a fool for believing Tokyojoe."

hahaha!!!

No requirements to join LOST Rockies, yet. We are still in the process of getting organized as a regional LOST club.

Welcome to Colorado and to KJ Country.

Do not worry about the trails here. We will take care of you. My first off-roading was at Moab and my KJ is a daily driver also. I do have the option of walking, running, or biking to work though. Just 5 miles from my office.

Get skids first. You can then hit some moderate trails with skids more so than with just a lift and no skids.

Sorry David, I LOST it... I do have full scale replica bumpers though!!

Welcome to the group Memphis, and yes this is a work in progress, and I will admit, I have not even looked at doing the next edit on the by-laws yet. Too much school and work and other stuff going on.
Sorry Guys
