Just did tin cup yesterday. I started at the eastern side at St. Elmo. Everything went as usual until I got to the water (river, during snow melt like now) right at Mirror Lake. The crossing looked straight forward enough, but as I started across, I dropped into a undersea trench and the entire belly of the CRD pancaked and was beached like a whale. I floored it and farmed my way out. I looked underneath and didn't see any damage. I guess the rocks were all flat topped. Puled up at my favorite fishing spot at Mirror Lake and landed 4 nice rainbows. Got em on the smoker now.

Also, I heard today that the Hancock Trail by St. Elmo is closed until further notice because it is basically GONE. High temps out here have really melted the snowpack, and washed out a lot of trails. Tree huggers are in there now looking at the damage and who knows when they will re-open.
