Well, the countdown begins. I'm packin up Chicago and heading to Boulder by August 3. The bad news... the apartment I have rented is red flagged by the city due to code violations and the like, therefore I have 5 days to find a new place of residence -Adam |

hmmm...kj up carnage, i personally wouldnt unless you are ready for some winching and body damage. up the left hand side, no problem. thing is, lefthand really isnt much more than a dirt road. carnage can be tough even if you avoid all the obstacles if you are running a solid axle and 32s. i ran carnage about every other weekend when i had the tj (on 33s). it is a fun trail but unless you get there 1st thing in the morning you will be waiting in a traffic jam. usually someone breaks (most guys use carnage to work the kinks out and to try out new mods) making the wait even longer. a good thing about carnage is that is is short. you can always walk up it 1st to check out everyone else running it oh...here are a couple good lonks for colorado... http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/ and http://www.4x4trails.net/index.php colo4x4 is a great local forum and 4x4trails.net has a searchable dbase of trails (not only colorado). mosty of the info is pretty spot on |

Hey quivvy there's no doubt you'll love it here but a must for you is to pick up a book called Guide to Colorado Backroads and 4-wheel Drive Trails Vol. 1 and 2 by Charles A. Wells. Volume 2 has the more local trails. And if you're looking for something with a challenge you are definatly interested in Middle St. Vrain Road and Coney Flats road just northwest of Boulder. Id show you pictures of my jeep on St. Vrain but cardomain went retarded. Anyways Welcome to the Rockies |
