No injuries to me other than slight muscle soreness the next day. My body didn't hit anything in the Jeep. It was such a cold day I was wearing gloves, a thick sweater and heavy ski jacket with fleece liner. The airbag melted a spot the size of a US silver dollar where my fleece liner and glove came together. If I hadn't had that on I would have had a pretty good burn on my wrist...'course if it were warm or summer there wouldn't have been black ice either... Not buying it back...putting insurance $$$ toward new car. Unfortunately my 4-wheel days are probably over. Haven't wheeled it is several years...was good in winter...when not losing it on black ice...was not in 4 wheel drive by the way. DOH! John ];') |

Thats a shame hopefully you'll be in another Jeep someday. Too bad couldn't do any parts retrieval. Happened to know the yard they sent it too?

| Post subject: | FREE PARTS form my 2005 KJ For Pickup |
Well back in November 2014 I hit a patch of black ice and totaled my ride. I finally got around to cleaning all the parts I have left in the garage. All these parts are FREE but for pickup only in Lakewood, Colorado. I WILL NOT SHIP. Sorry. These parts are from my former 2005 Jeep Liberty KJ Sport with manual transmission. Parts I have: I have STOCK OEM front struts, rear springs and shocks with only about 2800 miles on them as that is when I put the lift on my KJ. Fromt STOCK OEM A-arms and ball joints with about 10k miles. Front STOCK OEM Sway bar links. STOCK OEM rubber air intake hose. Rear Cargo shelf that I constructed. I also have both Stock OEM CV joints that need a rebuild. You can contact me with my user name @ hotmail.
