There is a trail run that has been planned for August 12th. Since I am going to be out of town, I will turn this over to somebody else. It will most likely be up American Fork Canyon. I hope you guys have fun. Be sure to post your pictures. |

Yes, this is a good idea.. There is quite a bit of KJ people in utah let's get together. AF Canyon has mary ellen gultch up to the miners grave. It's a nice easy trail for stockers w/ nice valley views. Who can go? |

I'm definitely in, if I'm in town. I need to figure out what my schedule is for the next few weeks. |

Once you figure it all out, let us know what your schedule is like so we can work around it. |

OK, what if we set a tentative date for July 15th? Who would be able to make it then? Any ideas on where to go? |

Sorry I haven't posted earlier--I am out of town today. I'll back in town this Saturday. I have other things going on on the 15th and the 29th of July. I think the 8th or 22nd would work for me. |

You are a busy man. I know that the 8th is bad for me personally. I have some work in the morning, then it is my wife's birthday, so I probably better not go out with the guys if you catch my drift. The 22nd should work ok for me I guess. Does anybody else have any input on the dates for this? Are there only a few of us that want to really go? |

The 22nd is the day I'm getting back from Puerto Rico. Won't be home until late so that's no good for me. I'm good other than that. Maybe since everybody's schedule is so crazy busy in July we should try the first week in Aug. Just a thought. |

Wouldn't break my heart if we had to go out on July 22nd AND August 12. (I've got cycling events on the 5th and the 19th.) In fact, I think I'll plan to ride up AF Canyon on those days whether anyone comes with me or not. |

That does sound good. I will be gone the first two weekends in August on vacation, so the 12th is out for me, but I am in for the 22nd of July. Let's just shoot for AF canyon then. Any ideas on a place to meet? Tible Fork Res.? I'll edit the title. |

It sounds like a good time. If something changes in my vacation plans I'll be there but it's a slim chance. I'm up for the 12th of Aug if anyone's going. |

Yeah, the reservoir is a great place to meet. We could meet in the paved parking lot on the north side of the reservoir, in the southwest corner facing the reservoir. That area of the lot seems to be empty usually. Or we could meet in the dirt parking area at the trailhead (where the horse and ATV trailers usually park). That usually works well unless it's full of horse trailers. |

I say we just plan on meeting at the reservoir since it is harder to get LOST. What time in the day would everybody like to begin? I am looking forward to wheeling up in AF with you guys. |

OK - we are getting closer and I would like to hear input from all who plan to go. Who is planning on coming? What time would you like to meet? Are we still shooting for AF canyon? Where would you like to meet? If I don't hear back from people then I will just assume that I am making all the decisions...I want to try and get a decent group of Losties together to make this a fun ride. Come on guys! |
