Very nice! RL makes some beefy rock sliders. They look about as rusty as mine before I refurbished them last summer. After the winter they are rusty again in spots. I figure grinding off rust and repainting will be on a two year cycle.

We Jeepers love to recycle! I have Hislop's lift and rock sliders, and Sport's roof basket. I was reading some old posts on KJ Country and it looks like ThunderbirdJunkie's lift lives on in your KJ. :JEEPIN: That's the way to do it. Good for the environment and the wallet!

Almost every addition to my jeep has been recycled. Looking into a built with recycled parts sticker.

Love the way you got your 4.10's. Wish that was an option for KK's!

Had a great time at the PA Jeeps All Breeds Jeep Show over the weekend. Plenty to look at and drool over! Enjoyed visiting the vendor booths and seeing what new innovations they had and trying to figure out how I could adapt them to a Liberty since the chances are slim that they will :ROTFL: . Lots of awesome jeeps thats for sure. :pepper: This was my first Jeep show and I was definitely impressed. Im looking forward to next year and hope to meet many more of you there.

John

This is for anyone considering installing a Tri-link extension.

I installed a Jeepin by Al Tri-link extension on Thursday. Here is what has been observed so far.

#1. Tri- link was under tension when I removed the bolts. The rear of the Jeep now sets 1/2" higher than it did and thats with all my junk in the back of it that I had with me for the trip.

#2. The pinion angle is now closer to stock.

#3. The rear spring perches are now paralell with the top frame mounts.

#4. After driving it for over 300 road miles today I notice the rear seems to move or flex more freely and rides better on bumpy roads and seems to help with a little smoother ride overall.

My opinion is that it is definitely worth the $50 investment!

Pretty easy if you have a second person to help shift things around. Tom had to push on the side of the Jeep to shift it enough to get the last bolt in.
