Some advice from someone who spent thousands of hours with a a SuperFlow 600 screamin' in my ears. Don't polish the intake and be careful what you grind on in the throttle body as it doesn't take much to screw the pooch royally. Just friendly advice do with it what you like.

10-4 I have a few spares besides the stock one. The 4.7 turned out well but didn't fit my intake (long story). It's for sale on eBay right now. At present I am working on a 3.7 Throttle body. Thanks for the words of caution - I am being extremely careful.

^^^^No I Didn't

And here are some things I learned,
#1 the throttle body's are interchangeable between 2002-2003 KJ's & 2004 but the electrical connectors, the MAF & air temp sensor's are different and not compatible, I have an early 2003 which has the 2002 throttle body.
#2 A TB off of a 2003 4.7 Magnum will not fit.
#3 The 2004 Air tube does increase the sound of the engine(just a little bit).
#4 Moving the air temp sensor location may be the only benefit to switching it.
#5 The resonator box is just as obstruction free as the air tube. Just some small slots on both sides.

The end result.
Intake air temp is now consistent with outside air temp.

That is fancy! Now you gotta start painting the rest of the engine bay! I may or may not paint mine if it ever decides to warm up around here

Just arrived yesterday evening.
I'm only using blue on the valve covers and intake. Im thinking I'll use red on the calipers to match springs, a arms, & rear diff.

Awesome! It was very compact snow. Used 2wd as much as possible. Put it in 4x4 on a few back roads and when my girlfriend was riding shotgun.
Got a decent workout shoveling out my pretty large driveway as well.
