Hey, mate.
What ya done to your Jeep lately or been thinking about doing?
Today I took my throttle body completely off to clean the inside of it since I know the outside is always clean.
Very surprised I was able to clean it even more by doing this.

Definitely do it!
I tend to clean my throttle body every few months, but never did it like this before. Very simple. I'm guessing the KJ would be just as easy.
You guys get a lot of snow in Pennsylvania?

We've had a little snow where I'm at but nothing more than 4 or 5" at a time. Everything is melted now and we have been just getting rain lately.

Yes, warmer weather has melted nearly everything this week.
Good weather for tinkering with Jeeps.
Had my friend's XJ over today. Fiddled with the valve cover gasket a little and added a little transmission fluid to it.

Heck yeah!
Not much to do on mine right now besides wash it.
Right now I'm trying to figure out what to do next to my friend's XJ.
Might be trying to do the shocks.
Gotta do some researching to see what I need to replace and how easy or hard it will be.

They're actually pretty easy to do on an XJ compared to the KJ especially the fronts. The rears are pretty much the same from and XJ to KJ but the fronts on an XJ are a million times easier since its like 2 or 3 bolts and the shock is off.

This is good news! I just PM'd a fellow member that used to have an XJ.
Are there springs to replace to? Sorry for my ignorance.

It has coils separate of the shock in the front and in the rear it has leafs. I've got no idea how hard leafs are to replace but the coils up front shouldn't be too hard.

Okay thanks.
I'll price out everything.
Would like to do it as cheap as possible as it's not my money, but not sure if it would be a good idea to leave the springs alone.
Jeep has 180K miles.

I'm guessing the springs are original?

Wouldn't doubt it. Been doing some research these past few minutes and seems like if you replace the coil springs, you just have to compress them with a tool and disconnect two or three things.
Besides that, the Jeep is doing about 100 times better than when SHE first got it. We've got a build thread on it here. Last thing we did was the valve cover gasket.

Haven't seen any accidents yet today, but the last storm we had I guess a month ago I saw a KJ in a ditch. :(
