Is there anyone in the Bel-Air/Abingdon area (or further if you don't mind a short drive) who can help me install an engine/transmission skid on the LJ in the next couple of days. I just picked it up today and it looks like a two man job. I really want to get this thing installed so I can bring th LJ to Rausch Creek next Saturday. I'm already going to have to go to the dealer sometime this week because I screwed up the bolts on the windshield hinge trying to mount my cb antenna. If worse comes to worse, I can have them install the skid while it's there, but I would like to avoid that. If you are available in the evening over the next couple of days and would like to help, let me know. I'll be working till about 4pm for the next few days. I'll check back often in this thread or just PM me if you want. I really appreciate any help you can give.
P.S. If you have a decent wrench set (or even an impact wrench), it might help make things go quicker too.

If you have jackstand or cinderblocks or anything else with some height, just put them under it to hold it about where it needs to be and just put the bolts in. I'm in Scranton, but would be glad to helpif you feel like taking a trip.

Thanks for the offer but by the time I got off work and drove up there, it would be too dark to do anything. I don't have any jackstands either. I live in a townhouse and don't get to do as much work on my vehicles as I would like.

If you want to put it on before the ride (i.e. while we wait for Chris), I'll help you. I can bring whatever tools you need in the spacious storage offered by the KJ.

Jason, I should be home around 4:30 on Wednesday. Shoot me a PM if you can help that day and I'll give you directions and contact info. (Unless someone can give me a hand sooner :) )
BTW, it's a Rusty's skid.
