A friend at work said there is a new off road park near Afton Mountain which is near I-81 Staunton area. He travels I-81 from Lexington to Roanoke, he said he sees a lot of 4x4's in the area. He went back to school at VMI last week & I forgot to ask him exactly how to get there. Anyone heard about it or been there yet? I'm thinking about taking a ride there tomorrow to see if I can find it. |

I have never seen or heard of an O.R.P. in this area. If you can find it I would like to make a visit also. |

I talked to my friend, he said it is near Crozet (typo), and the park is at the base of Afton mountain. He is bringing the article about it he has from one of the 4x4 mags which should give us all the info. |

Yeah, a guy from NOVA Jeepers told us about this place when we were at GWNF last month. Go to http://www.xjsrule.com for more info. They have their own rock crawling championships for people to warm up on before they go to NEUROC at Paragon. |
