Post subject:  Mid-Atlantic Fall Crawl
WHEN: Saturday October 22nd.
WHERE: George Washington National Forest

Even if I've got you on the list, please verify your attendance. If your not on the list, what are you waiting for? This will be tons of fun. We've got plenty of trails for stockers and a few challenges for the jeepnuts. Mike, maybe we can try Dictum Ridge going up :twisted: So far it sounds like everybody wants to cook out again. As the time gets closer, we'll figure out what everybody will be bringing. Mark your calendar and tell the boss (or wife :mrgreen: ) you're going wheeling!

WOW! That is one heck of a line up so far. Even with a lage ammount of KJs we will still be able to cruize up the mountain. Hopefully the play area will still be nice and muddy. And don't worry Jen I think you will be able to make it up the hill this time, since Riker showed you how to do it. If not there will be plenty of people for support.

Everything looks good at this point. One thing to consider the 22nd is after the clocks go back and the sunsets earlier. I think we left the food area around 5:30 last time... 5:30 in late October may be a little darker than in mid summer.
Not a real big deal just something to consider if we decide to stop at Flagpole Knob -vs- something earlier on the trip.

Sandie, no it's not just for MALOST. If you got some friends that want to come, just let us know.
Yeah Andy, I know we won't have as much daylight this time. I think we definitely will need to get an earlier start this time. We didn't even roll out of Sheetz last time till almost 11. We should get out of there by about 9ish this time.

I've been doing some "experimenting" up here in the P.A. mountains and some farm land. Really interested in hooking up with some guy's and gal's who can show me the ropes. Can this yankee come down and play?

The MALOST Fall crawl,
It will be such a ball,
And it's not even breaking the law,
Although it's a bit of a haul,
It's so much better than the mall,
During the middle of Fall,
We will all scratch and claw,
Over the mountain so tall,
Through the mud and all,
As I recall,
Though the KJ's not so small,
And we sought to enthrall
You can still hear us call,
Beyond the city sprawl,
GET LOST, one and all!


Obsessed? She called it a money pit :o

Not sure yet if I am driving down Friday night or Saturday morning, but I will be camping at the Brandywine Campground. Should be a nice cool night of camping and campfires,, did I mention beer? :D

My next door neighbor just got a liberty, and over the weekend he told me that it was at Adams Jeep getting ,, everything,, done,, lol. Lift, skids, wheels. So maybe I can talk him into coming along. I hooked him up with a MALOST flyer, but haven't seen him on here yet. I had told him about Paragon and our GWNF run,, he was very interested. He just sold his hopped up cherokee.
