Is my Rene the only liberty with stock only? Do you have stock only go out on your runs? I have to say I am not shy with mine, I do push her to the limits and in time I will be upgrading, but I have to wait a little longer. I would love to join you guys sometime!

Just watch the event posts and threads. usually it`s either announced or someone asks. The GWNF run will have runs for both stock and modified. The OBX run will be stock friendly as well as modified. Rausch, I`m not sure what levels they are doing but you know they have stock trails.;)

There are plenty of members that are stock.:)

Mike

If you go on the beach run, you can take your skids off because they will just collect sand. Beach driving is VERY stock friendly, unless you drive a BMW sedan or a Mini Cooper.

Good luck on trying to get my skids off with that tranny skid on there. My front skid is bent a tad, thus making a very slight noise at bumps and is a tad loose (barely). I tried to adjust the bolt an no such luck...it aint moving...either way! It can stay until I buy a new front skid. Let some other sucker try and get the bolt off. :P

I ran trails at Paragon, Rausch Creek and GWNF while stock. The only things I had were some skids and recovery points. You can do quite a bit stock but it will just make you want the lift even more so you can try harder stuff with the increased clearance. Yes we do runs that are stocker friendly. The only requirement is that you have at least one recovery point in case you get stuck. Skids are up to you but I wouldn't recommend going too long without them. You're better off spending a couple hundred on protection instead of a couple thousand if you damage something. Think of them as wheeling insurance. Hope you can make it to the GWNF run on October 22. There will be plenty of stuff for stockers including an awesome mountaintop lunch break with panoramic views of Virginia and West Virginia.

If you think you can than the Jeep will do it. I have ran Blue trails at Paragon with only full armour and I only got hung up twice. (Blue being the 2nd lvl of hardness)

My rene has skids.. ! I have the tow hooks, skids and the basic off road package. I don't have a lift and the bull bar (my wish list) and I keep trying to talk my fiance in to agreement on the lift :D I might be able to make it to the GWNF run if I can talk my fiance to going. We have a busy October planned already, but might be able to squeeze in a special weekend!
