| Post subject: | Looking for Connection to Jeep Dealer (Found!) |
Guess this is fairly appropriate for my first post since I don't actually own a KJ. I am looking for anyone who is or knows someone working at a Jeep dealer in the Mid-Atlantic, preferrably close to DC, that can put an order in on a 2006 Sport for me. Not looking for employee pricing hookup or anything like that just a simple no haggle build order with the options I want. Thanks in advance guys and hope to be wheelin' with some of you in the near future! Matt **EDIT Talked to Fitzmall.com last night. Qutoed out the door price of $25,708. Breakout looks like this: liberty sport 21057 22C Diesel $2751 sun roof $630 side airbags $441 Skid plates $135 destonation $660 Fee $99 incentive $-1000 VA tax $743 Total $25,516 The $192 delta includes misc MD fees and VA titleing fee. If anyone knows of a better deal or sees something screwy in my math please let me know before I pull the trigger on this next week Can't wait to hit the trails again. Jeepless for 5 years has not been a good thing!! |

That's what I'm afraid of!! Any dealer can put in the order but not all are willing to do it at invoice. Some of the high volume dealers have no problem with it as it is just another sale for them that they would not get because I am not willing to buy anything they have in stock. Just wondering if anyone has a contact so I don't have to keep calling dealers 'til I find one that is willing. Was at Arlington Jeep yesterday and they had no problem putting the order through and selling me the Jeep at invoice; they were just going to charge me $500 to do it Remember these guys get holdback, volume incentives and are often paying less than what is listed as 'dealer invoice' to begin with so I am by know means looking for charity. |

This will only cause Dealers to contact you trying to sell you something they have on the lot. Yep, think you are going to have to shop for a dealer willing ot work with you. Never had a problem with them charging me more for a factory order, but then again I never look at sticker. |
