Last time we had burgers off of the grill and ate as a group. We could do this again! I think burgers may take a little to long though, so how about steakums? I could put a good ammount of them on the grill and we still could have a hot sandwich.

I was thinking of asking for suggestions for lunch soon anyway. I had an idea too. If people are interested, maybe I could bring a large pot of soup and heat it up at the fire ring up on the knob. I also have a little camp stove I could use to make other hot foods if anybody has a good idea. It's a about a five inch burner that runs on butane.

Dave that would be great for the camp site. The only real issue with that is transporting to the lunch site and the time it will take to heat. With the ammount of people that will be attending I think there will be less time for lunch than what we had the last time with the small group. That is why I am leary on the burgers with cooking time and the ammount of time it takes to preheat the gril. :D

Only 7 people eating! I guess 1 gril will work.

I know i will have 1 or 2 more vehicles going with me, and will definitely have enough chips and pretzels for everyone going.

Well it is down to the wire for food prep.
Thanks to the 9 people that has voted so far. I guess it will be burgers. The good news is we will have 2 grills instead of the one.

No Angus burgers!!!
My grill is still greasy from when I cooked 20 at a time.

In fact, the less greasy the better.
I prefer Laura's Lean Beef or any low fat burger. If you make the patties up ahead of time, it will save time on the grill. The grills can hold more than one type of meat. We had sausage, burgers, and kielbasa on the grill during the OBX trip. And that was during a tropical storm!!

What fun is it to take out the fat. I want to feel my hart to start to beat harder when I bite into a burger.
