Since the last outing at Paragon, I picked up a portable CB radio. What channel will you guys be on?

We are usually on Ch. 4 until we get into the group. Then in group, we always switch to whatever the trail leader decides to use.

Since this is my first trip like this can anyone tell me anything I need to bring? From tools to food? Just a little unsure of what to expect. Do you guys usually just eat there or pack food? Thanks for any help.

Chris

Cav-

Read up here: http://www.paragonap.com/p_adventure_levels.htm

Pack a cooler with plenty to drink, it gets hot out on the trails. Pack your lunch and snacks too.

I just carry the normal set of all purpose tools.

Basic line of events:

• Meet at the Exxon at 8am. Here we chat, gas up, buy any food necessities and then head to Paragon by 8:20. For those running late, head straight to Paragon.

• Park in the Paragon parking lot, go in the building to sign in and pay and get your wristbands (and flag if you need one).

• Head to the check point, then go down to the staging area and get in the appropriate line. Air down now if you haven`t.

• Group heads out sometime after 9am and has a blast on trails until a lunch break around Noon, give or take a 1/2 hour.

• Group wheels some more and have more fun until around 4pm (usually) when we get back to the parking lot.

Definately bring a cooler and you can either bring food and drinks with you or get it at the Exxon Mart. Usually cheaper and better to bring your own. Oh, you can get ice at the Exxon if needed as well (subject to availability of course!). As for extra equipment, just bring what you can get as per their list. Usually most of us have whatever would be needed in case of emergency.;)

See ya in the morning.

Mike
