I figured i'd post some pics of my OBX vacation. About 10 of us rented a house in Rodanthe, NC approx 30-40 miles south of Kitty Hawk. Let me say the vacation was awesome!! Before the trip i really went over the KJ to be sure it was capable of the 900+ round mile trip. I added some OME HD springs, al's gen4 arms, 265/70-16 general grabbers, 2 new front hub bearings, changed ALL the fluids and replaced the r/f cv axle. Not even 100ft onto the beach and pos advance auto $69 cv takes a dump and starts clacking and clanging. Luckily it lasted the entire trip but makes a hell of a noise while in 4wd.

Enjoy the pics they in random order and are mostly of my Liberty, my dog, and the beach.

KJ a few weeks before we left new tires but still the old lift and old al's arms.

Although i am a toyota fan, I had to get this picture of the trd stuck and being pulled out by a jeep. It was stuck due to operator error. My buddy has one of these trucks with the electric locker and it's a very capable rig.

Nice picts. 8) I love it down there. It looks like your dog did fine too. Some water-loving brave dogs only go in the surf water as deep as Lexi did.

Looks like you had a good time :)

I took my dog to the beach this weekend too. We rented a kayak and he was riding with me, and took a swim a few times because he wouldn't sit still. Dog paddling was completely natural for him :)

My dog does the same thing. Fun getting them back in without tipping, isn't it?

OBX, is awesome!! Hope to head down next year around this time of season. Just gotta take the hurricane chance.

Lexi's never seen the ocean or sand before so i wasn't expecting her to jump in. After a few days she became more used to it and didn't mind getting wet. Maybe it was because she fell in the deep end of the pool the first day we were there, luckily i was in the pool and was able to help her get out. :D
