Well the old post didn't make it over here so I am starting a new one. Who here is going. I am planning on camping over the weekend at the fairground unless the weather turns bad. It should be a real fun time and would be nice to see some other modded KJ's.

I shall be there for both days. I am getting a banner made up for the Mid Atlantic Lost. We need a head count so who ever gets to the get first can tell the PA Jeep Guys how many of us will be showing up.

Al

PS. This is the message Igot back from the PA Jeep guys:

Al,

I can't promise that you will ALL be parked together unless you all enter the vehicle inspection together. It shouldn't be a problem if you all plan on arriving together, simply state to one of the staff members at the registration gate that you request to be parked together.

I probably won`t be able to get up there until Saturday evening at the earliest. I`ll post when I have a solid idea of when I`ll get there.

The show is located in York Pa, at the fair grounds. The dates are Sat. the 23rd and Sun. the 24. They group all the Liberts and Cherokees together, mods or not if I remember correctly. The judging is done by our peers. It is a fun time, and you can speak to people like Rusty one on one, sometimes for great lengths of time ( I think he fell asleep on me last year!). Hope to see everybody there.

Talon-Mike Hope to see you Sunday. Remember everyone, get there early for your goody bags and to sign up.

You'll need a drill, a couple of wrenches and about an hour per side to do them. Don't forget the holes in the frame rail require an "F" drill bit and I think the ones in the pinch seam are 1/4". The best way to do them is to mount everything up on the pinch seam and mark the holes on the frame rails. Then take them off and drill the frame rails. If you try and drill the holes with the bars in position, the bar itself will get in the way of the drill and cause the holes to go in at an angle.

Any suggestions? There was a donut shop across from the main gate. I just remember if there was any other places to stop. It's tough getting older! Can't seem to remember :!: any more!

I am going to try and make it. I will know tonight after the wife and I have our coming events talk. Do I have to pre-register like Adams? Or do we just show up? We will be staying the night so I would like to know where most of everyone is staying.

Ok guys and girls,
Here is the address of the fair grounds

Where: York Fairgrounds – 334 Carlisle Ave. – York, PA. 17404
When: July 23 & 24, 2005Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday & Sunday

A Jeep Exclusive Show-N-Shine / Trail Readiness Event
Over 80 Trophies Awarded in 21 Categories
Dash Plaques for the first 200 Registered Jeeps!

I will be pulling into the Days Inn late Friday night. I picked up a 3' by 5' banner that has Mid Atlantic LOST across the top, Liberty Owners Special Team in the middle and Its a Jeep thing across the bottom, so we will be easy to find. The gates open at 7:00, so since I have no idea where to meet outside the show, how about if we all try to show up at the Main gate @ 7:30?

Al

If only Hooters were open for breakfast!

7:30 at the gate "seconded"

For those interested, this will likely be my last LOST event in the Mid-Atlantic, due to relocation at the end of August. Gotta get back to the mosquitoes...

Just curious, what`s the plans after the show Saturday (I know a dinner is in order)? I won`t get up there until approximately 6pm give or take 1/2 hour. Also, for those that have been there before, what`s Sunday like? No use for me to register since the judging and all is Saturday (or do I still need to for Sunday?).

Still debating if I want to bring the BB`s to be installed Al...;)
