You could also put a post on the Raush Creek website or check it out to see if anyones heading there tomorrow. I know my husband said that on the wrangler forum some people posted that they were going tomorrow, I'm not sure what trails they are running tho.

Saturday the club will be running some stock-friendly trails. So you should be OK without skids, if your careful. If you want to go, I need to know ASAP, so i can let the club know to expect more rigs. They will want you to sign a release, also. Check out their club rules also at http://alphaomegaoffroad.forumotion.com/2009-trail-run-schedule-f25/trail-run-rules-t409.htm. So far there is about 14 rigs for this run.

I ran there stock. No lift,no skids I had bigger tires that was all. I faired pretty well. After going through a muddy watery washed out area my o2 sensor must have gotten moisture in it and threw the check engine light on so I left it sit after awhile and rode with my husband to the other side of the property. Which was a good thing some of the "easy" trails on that side were probably a lot more than my stock kj could have handled without severe damage.
So anyway lol if I would have been lifted without skids I would have probably been better off. I was clanging off rocks pretty good. I am dying to run up there since lifted I just wont do it until I get a gas tank skid otherwise I am fully skidded. Now I really want to go after talking about it! :D

I'll be there around 7am. Some of the club members will be arriving Friday evening, to get some campsites. We're camping Saturday night. If you want to join the ride, go to their website and post up that you want to go. Its free to join the forum. http://alphaomegaoffroad.forumotion.com/monthly-ride-discussion-f5/july-25th-and-26th-t716.htm

We had a great time at RC. Sorry you guys couldn't make it. I did several greens and blues. Flexed out the suspension to the max. Had a lot of scrapes and bangs underneath, so it was good I had the skids. I also abused my sliders. Had some good spotters, so i never needed the winch, or a strap. With more lift, larger tires, and lockers, I think the Liberty could have handled some of the blacks.

How are the green trails? Those are the "easy" trails right?

The greens were harder than I thought they would be. At least, they were harder than any of the trails I've been on here in VA. The blues were slightly more difficult. I never got stuck so bad that I needed assistance, while there was a stock TJ and a stock JK that needed assistance. (That could have been an experience issue, though.) Considering that my KJ sits only slightly higher than stock, I did pretty well.

Cool, my goal is to get up there once this year. Hopefully I can make that happen.
