Anyone from Pittsburgh Pa in here? If so I am in the South Hills of Pgh...... wondering if anyone would have the time to take a lookie at my Jeep.... it makes a weird clunking and vibrating noise when coming to a stop or just cruising at like 5 mph in traffic..... someone at a dealer told me to check the rear differential but I was also told to check the u joints and me and my father havent had the time too look at it...... just driving it and I am getting sick of the noise and wanna fix it ASAP.... |

I had that same problem and I took it into my mechanic and he replaced my wheel bearings and it went away. BUT unfortunatly the cheapest you can get bearings for the KJ are ~300$ an axle. My fronts were shot and my backs were fine so I only had to do the fronts. Im at Williamsport maybe we can meet and greet sometime. |
