OK guys here is the deal. Might be going on a trip here soon with the GF. She doesn't care as long as its out of state. She wants to go somewhere with a beach but my argument is we live within a hr and a half from a beach, we can go another time. But I've narrowed my locations down to either Washington, DC or Norfolk, VA. I've been to DC before and think we will have more things to do there then the other. It would be a 3 day trip, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday sometime next month. If all goes to plan she will be getting "a ring" too on the trip so its got to be somewhat memorable. I'm leaning for toward Washington as far as things to do. So your guys input would be greatly accepted!!! Thanks -Z |

When are you planning on doing the trip? I'm biased, but I'm not a big fan of Norflok, or DC... I'd personally head south vs north. But if you decide on Norfolk, let me know and I'll try to help you out with some info. |

Well if your going as far as Norfolk, you might wanna drive another few minutes to Va Beach. It isn't that far away from Norfolk, and much more to do. Besides there really isn't anywhere too romantic in Norfolk anyway. |

Head south Charleston SC is great. Get a room downtown and do the horse and carriage rides and tons of other stuff to do. |
