I had a great time. I'll post up some pictures when I get the time. If anybody remembers hearing a call for help later on in the day from a "tire blowout" on the CB that was me. I didn't blow the tire, but bent my rim and blew off the fender flare... I, uh, ramped the last uneven pavement there on the abandoned highway and cleared 45 feet with the Libby... Extremely dumb, but it sure as hell was fun and the Liberty isn't too worse off for wear! Now it just matches QuickSilver's.

We started to head out to look for you. I had a hydraulic jack, stands, blocks...etc but someone said you had it fixed??.

I forget his name, but somebody with a Wrangler that was with the group happened to be doing the same thing I was doing (getting one last look at the highway) shortly after I put out the call for help and he was more prepared than I. The tire did not blow, but the rim was bent so we put on the spare given the pending three hour drive home. My lug nut wrench simply wouldn't budge the lug nuts and I was missing an extension for my bottle jack... Looks like I wasn't as prepared as I should have been and let my Liberty fall behind the Wrangler in tools, etc... I'll be correcting that this week (after getting a new Inner Fender & Alignment )

Luckily my co-pilot was recording and got the whole thing on tape... I'll make sure to put it up so you can all enjoy my biggest dumb moment with a vehicle. :jester: We measured the distance from the bump to where my skid plate hit the ground and it was 45 feet... Didn't think a Liberty could do that AND survive.
