Rausch Creek is OK. It`s very rocky and the trails have a lot of stumps. Also, some areas have "old garbage". If I have a choice, it`s Paragon any day over Rausch Creek although I wouldn`t mind going again one of these days just for something different.

Mike

p.s. This is where David blew a stock tire on a stump.

That's exactly what I said. Only I also said to her : "I'm not getting new tires now and change them again when I get a lift. So I might as well get the lift now too."
I wouldn't mind a run to Rausch sometime soon. Yeah I went to Paragon a few times this spring and Rausch would be a nice change of pace. Been to Rausch two or three times but always stayed on the east property. Maybe this time we could try the west property too.

:D I like the fact that the ATV's are in another park and you don't have to contend with them! :D Joe

I'd like to wheel RC again, and it is a little closer for me. I've been there once and only on the east property. Let's pick a date and see who's interested.

The last weekend of August is good for me. I'm already taking off since it is my birthday. Or is that too short of notice for everyone. If it is we could plan for mid September.

I might be able to get away at the end of August. Personally, I'd prefer GWNF again, but that's just me. Something about paying to drive around in the woods rubs me the wrong way. Be back online in August,, gone on vacation.

Get muddy

I have never been to Rausch Creek, but Dh has. He enjoyed it.

I feel the same way as George. Paying to wheel gets pretty annoying and tight on the budget after awhile. But unfortunately, we don't have a lot of national parks and such to wheel in like the west coast guys. Oh the price for living in suburbia. But if the wallet will allow (and the wife too) I guess I could still get away to wheel Rausch at the end of August. If there are enough interested parties, we need time to call and get our group on their calendar, so let's get a count going.

The only date I have open in August for RC would possibly be the Sunday the 28th. Sandy and I will be in Reading Pa on the 27th, so we'd be less than an hour away. September is better for me.

Is this ride still alive, or is it back to Paragon for the Sept monthly ride? It's been a long time since I was on the trail... June 7!!
