Dictum Ridge

FYI

Recent trip to GWNF last weekend I found out that the bottom portion of Dictum Ridge, the stair steps, has been closed by the Forrest Service. They claim there was a fire in the area and combined with increased erosion, it was a good time to close the trail. New gates have been erected and several trees have been cut down on placed across and on the trail to prevent anything other then foot traffic from entering.

Not familiar with Dictum Ridge is that in the northern part of the forest?
