Post subject:  Anyone For Rousch Creek Sunday?

Since the Fools run seams to have crapped out. George (Speleorelic) and I are thinking of heading out to Rousch Creek this Sunday. Is there any one else who would like to join us? We will need at least a third jeep to form group.

Man I want to, but now I cant! Just my luck to finally get lifted and then have every wheeling weekend booked with some sort of doo doo to do. Even if the monthly ride happens, now I cant make that weekend either. BTW-there will be couple clubs there that day. I might waitlist to get on OK4WD's event at RC, at the very least I will be going out at Shutterbug day at Paragons monthly run.

A guy with the Maryland Rock Raiders is interested in going along. I think he's been there before. Jason, I'll call you today.

I can't join you, for the same reason I couldn't make the Fools Run. We have a Deja ride on the 15th at Paragon and guests are welcome. They run stock and mod.

I ended up at Paragon anyway. The group I was with changed plans at the last minute. The Maryland Rock Raiders have a web site similar to LOST,, it's at
http://www.marylandrockraiders4x4club.c ... um.php?f=7
click on the April 9th run for a description and a few pics. The people were nice, 3 of the other 4 jeeps were built up trail rigs with 33's and 35's. The took me on high greens and low blues. I did pretty well except for this one trail. They kept on trying to get me thru, but after 4 attempts at the begining of the trail, and knowing the big obsticle was still to come,, I backed out, and they all followed me back out. First we went up trail 5, Whompum,, a Blue 3. There were a couple places where I took a bypass,, that was a heck of a trail. I think they were impressed with the libby,, but of course,, they had to find my limit. We went down Turtle and onto trail 47,, Rocky Meadow,, a blue 2. After that, I don't even know where we were when I couldn't go any further. I was watching a group ahead of us in TJ's,, all lifted, locked and tires,, and they were all damaging their rigs and winching each other over these enormous boulders,, and I hadn't even made it to that spot yet,, so I backed out,, and the group stayed with me,, which was cool. I know a couple of those guys wanted to hit tougher trails,, but that's how it goes I guess. No damage,, a great day!!! You missed it dude,, lol.

You're not the first Libby they have wheeled with. There is another guy that's an occasional member here and with Maryland Rockraiders named Lyle who has a black 02 with and ARB bumper, lift and roof rack that has gone out with them before. If I recall, he lives in Perry Hall too. He was at the Adams show last year.
