That roof rack and rear bumper look familiar. Like I saw them on a Black KJ once.

I moved from VA to MD so yeah. I haven't seen any lifted KJ's here in this area(Lexington Park).

Hi, John,

My 05 Liberty lives in NorCal but I noticed on your nicely maintained Jeep your Gas Door and was wondering what brand you bought to fit? How many holes did you drill or what modifications were needed?
Most manufacturing sites I tried do not specify Gas Doors that will fit Libertys.

????? :JEEPIN:

Thanks John, for your information and experience with the install of the fuel door. I bet others on this forum would be interested in this info too.
Last year I talked to a guy at another company which makes fuel doors and he sent me a black one which fit perfectly inside the circle but I had to carefully drill three or four holes and buy sheet metal screws to install. It looks good but is not a perfect fit. For about four years I would call any company who makes these Billet style fuel doors to ask why they dont just make one for Libertys.
Some of the answers were that not enough of the Libertys made to make it worth while. I dont agree and wish they would look into just making some with simple install directions.

Just a little comparison - 4" JBA Coilover lift on my Liberty vs. 2 1/2" Terraflex lift + JKU Rubicon springs & shocks on my wrangler. They both have approx. the same size tires and as you can see ground clearance is almost identical.
