The subject was discussed during the August online meeting. Many ideas, dates and locations were suggested.

One impression I got is that many members don't want to do excessive travel for the event, so I had an idea.

Mid-Atlantic LOST covers a very large geographical area so why not have 2 M&G events - say a Northern and a Southern.
PA, NJ, DE could be one, MD, VA, WV and DC another. If held on separate dates all M-A members could choose to attend
either or both. Travel times would be lessened, easier for those with kids or who can't travel far or spend more than 1 day at the event.

Through the marvels of technology, we'll all be able to share our experiences online when we get home.

One thing is for certain, there is no shortage of locations as many good suggestions were made during the meeting.

Okay, I'm out of ideas for now. :?

I sadly missed yesterday's meeting. One thing that i wanted to know was if there is anyone that lives in north western pa? I can't always drive down to Paragon and some of the other places you guys goto in southern pa, and was wondering if there were people that would like to go riding, official or not. And if there are any good trails up here?

I think a M&G would be awesome.

Or we can just alternate them until the club is really big...;)

Good idea though.

sounds like a good idea but do you make it an event i.e. GWNF or a cook out i.e. state park for 2WD KJ's too?
although to be honest the leg of GWNF I did, didn't "need" 4 wheel drive...
So getting to flagpole knob is doable for everyone so long as the roads aren't washed out...
