Sorry I didn't make the meeting tonight. I got held up at the dealer today. I finally convinced my wife to give up her little 2-door coupe. We traded it in on another 2-door, convertible though. We got an awesome deal we couldn't pass up. We got a---------

05 Wrangler Unlimited.

Kimberly is going to use the Liberty as her daily driver ( she works at home), and I get the Unlimited to play with. It only had 9000 miles on it, none of it off-road. It's got a hardtop and trans and gas skids. So I could just get an oil pan skid and start wheeling.

Now I think I have to get a second job to pay for the mods. :lol:

She wants me to pull some of the armor off the KJ to lighten her up to get better mileage,so I might have a few things for sale soon. Don't have any pics yet but it's dark blue just like the Liberty. Hopefully coming to a trail near you soon.

That is great Dave. I wouldn't sell anything off the Libby since you never know when You might want to take it out and play.

Congrats! I was just about to do the same thing, then my wife said..."I don't want a truck." So we got a Miata instead, which is really bad for wheeling (I know 'cause I can hardly "wheel" out of some parking lots") but it goes around corners REALLY fast.

Dave the first mod is to take the boxing gloves off of the ends of your bumpers. The other weekend when we went to GWNF they filled up with mud anyway. You will like the look of the naked bumpers.

Hey I still got the Liberty. And it's still going to get wheeled for a while until I can afford to start modding the Wrangler. I think it's just that so many guys start with the Liberty and get tired of waiting for bigger lifts, gear options and other mods so they get a Wrangler. Plus, if you don't get one soon, you won't be able to get a Wrangler that you can mod, cause you would have to wait a while after the 07's come out before there are any good mods available.
