I'm always ready for a coffee. Especially since the stupid teachers are on strike.

Lets pick a time and place and we can try and PM the rest of the guys.

How about Sunday April 2nd.

For the first outing can we do something relatively easy? Me wants lotsa mud, but I dont wanna break anything.... I seriously wanna do it if its not too nutz. No insane trails Tarkus!!!! ;) I heard Turkey point is cool, but not sure how nutz it is, or if we are allowed in there with trucks?

Mud is the silent killer. It washes off the outside but will destroy your bearings and joints over time. Last set of front bearings cost me $350.00 each.

Remember: All things in moderation , including moderation itself.

Is Turkey Point on Lake Erie?

17th side road...can be muddy in sections, and rocky.... It runs East / West between Highway 25 and 4th line, just north of Milton, very popular place, and has four different sections, take an hour or two to do it all.....can be a little rough going at times, even with my lift I bottom out on the skids occasionally. It needs some maintenance done. Crown land and attaches to the Bruce Trail. You can see it on the satellite maps in Google Earth...pretty cool.

I did some research on Turkey Point BTW, can't find out if wheeling is allowed yet, but I know it is at Lake Erie, has a beach Provincial Park and golf course, and is its own town to......any other info??

Anyone else here interested in finding out about Turkey Point or any other wheeling opportunities...soon??

Awesome, just be careful if you go in to not get stuck!! If you're on your own you're screwed! There are some DEEP mud sections, I was told by someone else last night.

This is the end of the trail near 4th line...apparently its MUCH deeper as of last night....and I am lifted to, at its deepest point it was halfway up my headlights!

Anyway, I hope we can get something together for at least three or four of us here, and get out....maybe somewhere new??

Good luck today over at 17th!!

Well as long as you'll help tow my Mercury Cougar out.... :D

Still no KJ.... :(

Wondering also what limits I'll have once I get my KJ since it will be stock stock stock...
Well... Renegade with the D Package flavour of stock... heh heh So full skids and rock rails...

Notice that you have a 2006 Renny... Did you take it wheelin before getting the lift?

Yep I certainly did....it came with the skids and rails as well.....I was hitting the skids more frequently than not....but thats what they're there for....after I got lifted I took a look at the skids and theres hardly any evidence at all that I'd hit them....better them than the parts they're protecting!!

Stock...the 06 Renny wheels good, the ESP (Electronic Stability Program) gets you out of alot of jams that others wouldn't).....just don't go alone....the stock tires will get you stuck more than likely...but thats half the fun!

Help me get on these guys to go wheeling....and as soon as you're up and running let me know....stock or not, doesn't matter, a wheeling we will go....the Liberty stock is surprisingly capable so not to worry!
