WEll i burnt my cv joint few month ago.... went i say burnt... i mean reallllllllllly burnt ( no more boots... ball bearing inexistant ) ... i removed the driveshaft till i rebuild it ... bough a repair kit and rebuild.... instaled it back and not even 10 mile later ... vibration came back and the cv joint is gone again ( not as bad as previous one but empty on grease and some metal rip on ni ... i got few question ...

1 : can my driveshaft be bend with the first cv fail ???
2 : the TC flange that bolt to DS still very cold with no drive shaft but the Diff flange get warm... ( can tolerate hands on it no prob but still hotter than tc one ) is it normal
3: anything else can make repetitire failure of the Driveshaft cv joint ???

Got a front whell hub to do too.. lil " mmmmmmmm" when rolling and get a bit louder when i gently turn left .. so probly the right one ...

Where should i start first.... cant afford putting 1k $ right now on that jeep... but planning maybe a rebuild front diff kit and wheel hub... then maybe an HD drive shaft with standart U-joint... but remember im from canada so shipping is a bit high

I did the same with one on the transfer case end even used a bearing packer to make sure I got the grease every where. And boom on the way to my driveshaft shop to. Pick one up for our tractor it started vibrating really hard right at the last exit. Got there the boot was boiling from the inside the whole driveshaft was black from grease slinging out of both ends. So I told them to make me one they swapped my transfer case yoke and front axle yoke. The made me a fresh one blanced it and slide it in and I was back on the road within 2 hours. Didn't touch it again till I removed it to let them install my new one for my transfer case swap.

I'd get a professionally rebuilt one with a warranty.

10 miles and self destruct is either something bent or missing - a good shop can check all the pieces.

(and the Chinese 'new' can be bad - wrong length - they die fast too)
