Hi There,

grateful for any help you can offer.

I have a 2005 CRD Limited with Leather seats (power seats). I sourced some much nicer material seats from a 2004 Liberty sport and installed them.

Now I have the seatbelt chime on (occupancy sensor) and airbag sensor on. Its very annoying.

The connectors all fit fine between the different seats, but the # pins etc looks different. So it looks as though the computer is actively looking for something that is not there (i.e. 4 pins on connector on drivers seat in old model vs 2 on replacement seats)

Can these issues be solved by fooling the computer through resistors (i.e. putting in leather seat connectors and wiring up a resistor on the missing parts) or is something more sinister at work here?

Has anyone successfully managed this in the past?

Cheers

Andrew
