I did it. I only did the front doors though.

My
personal opinion is,
Pros:
-Offroad visibility
-Looks cool
-A taste of Wrangler, especially on beautiful summer days, nothing like it, even in the KJ! Sure its just the doors but still WAY different.
Cons:
-Wind can get annoying, but only bothered me on the highway. I have longer hair.
-Percipitation and cold is horrible, like anything else without doors.
-Theft and vandalism
-If you have the premium sound system, the amps are in the front doors, so no front doors=no sound. Then again, it was something else to just listen everywher I went, since I normal have the music pretty loud.
I'm too lazy to do a write-up, maybe one of you techies can take what I'm about to say and make it a write-up.
1. Find a helper, either another person or something to suspend the doors with in your garage.
2. Take out the door check-strap bolts.
3. Pull the electrical harness out of where it goes into the body.
4. Pull the harness even further back from the body to expose the two orange clip connectors.
5. Pop the clips, pull out the door end of the connectors, and you're done with the electrical. Might want to cover the connectors on the body end with something and put them back in the hole, but not too far so as to lose them in there.
6. Get your helper to hold the door up, or straps to keep it from falling.
7. Take off the bolts holding the door to the hinge.
8. Take the door off hinges.
To put the doors back on, do the exact reverse. To avoid problems with alignment, I hand tightened the hinge-to-door bolts and then tightened each with a wrench till they felt pretty snug, then I back them off a quarter turn. It worked. To be reasonable, give yourself 15 minutes to get the doors off and then another 15 to get them back on your first time.
