Maybe it is just my eyes playing tricks on me, but something doesn't look right in this picture. Here is a new picture with the little things that I am seeing, but you will have to measure since the picture could be deceiving.

The angles (marked green) look to be different (right angle looks sharper than the left), and the distances look different in the lines marked in red and blue (which could easily happen if that right bend is sharper). As for what you can do with those channel mounts to make them work, I really couldn't tell you from the pictures I have seen, but heating and reforming isn't going to do the trick. At the very least, the top plate of the channel would have to be replaced and to do that and still be strong would take some work.

Sweet booty bumper!! But what a cluster *&^^&* this has turned into. Good luck i hope you get it to work. If you get it to work have them refund like 50% of your money for time, fabrication, and aggrivation. Send them the link to this thread if they think they'll sell more at that price and the b/s involved. :x

Rock Lizard, i see what you mean about the angles but it may just be the angle that the pic. is taken. The cardboard in the background doesn't help either.

Just wanted to include the pics I mentioned before. Not trying to hyjack this thread. Just highlight the customer service I have gotten from Seth and Marc at ARB on helping me with the USED bull bard. Service they didn't need to do.

Still waiting for the OEM fog brackets from Down Under as well as the ARB badge.

worst case just send it back and get you a TJM, installation was a breeze and I think its even cheaper than the TR bumper.

Ok, so I just got off the phone with Larry. He was telling me about when DCX sent him a test vehicle that it sounds like they sent a late model 04 saying it was an 05. he said when he saw my pics the test vehicle's front end was nothing like that. So on to the possible good news. He is going to get back to me and have the shop that builds his race cars come to fix it. and make everything right since I have already hacked up my KJ. And the best part is, this shop is down the street from my house in Arizona. On another note, he doesnt believe he is going to market this thing for 05+ anymore, since I am having all these issues. It sounds like his race car builder is going to do some custom stuff to the bumper to make it work, so we shall see. He also mentioned about the possibility of raisng the top plate like RL suggested and what JHCRASH said by possibly raising the C-channels up a bit. So I will keep you posted. Thanks everybody for all the input and support.

on the arb for 05, you have to take the oem fogs out and put them in the holes on the new bumper, then, when installed, the bumper covers those holes.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the OEM fogs? if my bumper does work could I put them in the holes provided? or should I just get some PIAA 510 fog or driving lights?

That's not so great on a Renegade.

The ones for the renie will sit on the bumper and not in the holes. allows you to ad additional lights there if you want, or get the grille inserts and mount those there instead of the lights.

Actuallt six positions for lights on the ARB. The EOM holes on the face, the two where I am mopst others have additional lights and two more tabs on top of the round bar where JasonK has his CB antenna mounted. Many more places than other bumpers.

Jason,

I see a fairled, is there a winch in there? or are you just prepared for one, like me?

I am looking at the m8000. 4wd hardware has them on sale for around 550.00

0311_DoC,

To be honest the only issue I had with my install, and it was because of the options i have on my 07 limited, is that the TPM wheel well sensors were mounted too low and needed to be relocated. They used one of the mounting points for the washer bottle/horn covers that ARB has and they also stuck out after all was installed. I just drilled out the rivets and moved them up a couple of inches and they are hidden and working great.

Again I can not ever begin to rave about the customer support ARB and the guys have shown me for a bumper I din't even buy new form them or a dealer.

Those are some freaking strong antenna mounts, WAY over done in my book, but cool.
