Definantly not spring sag. Do you remember how yours looked before the lift? They lowered them so much after some point in 2002 that the shafts actually angle UP towards the tires. It looks really stupid. Stop at a dealer and take a look they will all be like that.

Thats sounds like spring sag.

Or has that already been established?

No, its not spring sag!

It makes total since that he must raise his jeep a 1/2in to make the cv's level since they lowered them 3/4in!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

it is spring sag i have a picture of it when it was brand newand a picture now and you can see the "rake" to the front
also i cant fit the bottle jack under the front skid even with a little push up but when it was brand new i could

all j's said that i should put the OME springs with rancho struts and shocks but that means spending money :x

So you have a 2002? If so then this all makes alot more sense and you do have some sag.

All Im trying to say is the 7/16 spacer may push the suspension down to much and allow the upper ball joint to hit the spring when the jeep is off the ground. The strut is all that keeps this from happening but the cleavis lift allows it to droop more than the strut would.

no its an '03
if i jack it up until the wheel leaves the ground and still have lots o clearance then i should be good to go?
or should i quit being so tight and just get new springs and struts?

No, its not being tight. This is a really good way to fix the problem that you have. I was searching around and found this:

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Jeep_Liber ... levis_Lift

The guy said he pulled it up 5/8in and still had some strut sticking out the bottom of the clevis? Theres no way, mine is pulled up about an 1/8in and mine isnt sticking out.

If you do try it, watch the upper balljoint and do not let it hit that spring. It doesnt need to hit it hard to tare the boot, then its over and will cost alot to replace that arm(you cannot replace just the joint). If you look at mine you will notice the spring is turned just right to where the boot wouldnt hit it even if it could. Good luck!

So were your shafts level when new? Or even angled down toward the tires? Mine sure arent. But I have a CRD and they may sit even a little lower for one reason or another.

well i just got the KJ in the driveway and took a look and found that if i jack it until the front wheel leaves the ground i can still stick my hand between the UBJ and the spring so i dont think a 3/8 or ven a 7/16 spacer will be a problem

also note that the front is a good 1 1/2" lower then the back masured between the wheels at the pinch weld closest to the wheels
i would think this is spring sag
