The Revos are the exact same amount as the ones I have on it now....the tire shop will do the direct swap for free. If they really do wheel nice then I just may go that route because the money is already spent.
I wheel the crap out of my Revos and they work great - on the highway - they are dead silent. Don't go wider than a 245 series with the lift and rims you have on. Here is a good tread shot:

I dont have any right now, i have yet to take some w/ the new tires. I will take some in the morning and post up for you.

-Nick

That would be very much appreciated. I would like to see how they look.

Ok, here you go, I am posting a link to them because they are huge, i didnt get a chance to reduce the size of them. I hope that this helps.

Remeber I have a 2inch lift with 245/75 on 16's!

Nick,

Those pics are great!! thanks so much. I really do like the look of the Revos. I think it is the perfect compromise. So you just slapped the 245's on...no funky backspacing at all? How about rubbing. I already did the front fender liner and the pinch weld, so I think I should be ok....right? Have you wheeled it good yet? Do they rub under load at all? Tell me everything you know....heheh.

wich ever tires you end up getting, just make sure they are 245/70R17's (31") and NOT 265/70R17's (32").

I have BFG A/T's 245/75R16's (31") on stock wheels and they still rub a little.

32" tires are just too much even for the mighty Frankinlift without lots of trimming.

Wow!! I didnt even notice you had the 17" rims!! Those poor things will get killed on the rocks.  Anyway, yea, get 245 width! I wouldnt go any wider to minimize rubbing in the rear at full flex. If you do not want road noise, then I would get the revos since they are the same price as what you have. Good luck!

Ok, the Revos are ordered!! I get them on Tuesday....no wheeling for me this weekend  . Guess I have to wait awhile to get the lift broken in. Thanks to all of you for your quick responses and great pics....love to see the KJ in action and at rest. I will post pics on Tuesday or Wednesday so you all can see the results of your advise.

Those rims are Bullets answer to the diamond ring!! She likes to look good while wheeling. heehee. They may get killed on rocks, but we mostly do mud, sand and trails....I live in Oregon and we are hard pressed to find real rock climbing here. By the time I have enough money to make it to Moab, I will have $$ for other wheels and tires too!!

Well i havent been able to find any good off road places to get the tires stuffed good. The only place that i have rubbing on road is in reverse at full lock on the front left fenderwell it rubs a bit. I have no clue why only the front left but thats how it is. I havent trimmed at all and dont plan to, i can live with it rubbing there for now i just dont turn to sharp in reverse and i dont have to worry about it. Otherwise everything has been great, I would assume that if i had a rear tire fully stuffed that it would rub up in the rear fenderwell, but i dont think you could get away from that very easily with any tire combo...

You will like them, just get some pictures of the "Completed Bullet" up here and all will be well!

Wouldn't wheel spacers just change the point of rubbing?

yes, exactly, they would rub on the fender flares instead of the inside.

Id get a set of offroad wheels and tires (something not so pretty to beat on) and use your current wheels for everyday.

245/75/16's (mtr's off a rubicon) would be killer for offroad with some 50 dollar aftermarket or the stocker steel wheels would work too..you should be able to pick some of those up pretty cheap.

As for the Revos'....I think your going to be unhappy with them if the Oregon Mud is where your going to play. I've got a buddy with Revo's and they are nice on the road but fill with mud like an AT tire. (maybe worse) They work about as good as an AT in the dirt and rocks though. Keep your local terrain in mind and you'll do fine.

just my 2 cents.

You say you like the mud a lot... if that's the case I'd steer clear of AT's. Sure they're quieter, but you can get used to the noise really quick. I bought my AT's as a bit of a compromise because I wanted something more aggressive that would fit without a lift; I really wish I would have gotten some MT's. I'd recommend BFG MT's based on the reviews I've read. Not too noisy and they last forever, plus they won't cake up with mud.

Yup i would reconmend the BFG mud-terrains also. They work great in the rain also. The only bad thing about these is they pick up a lot of rocks if you are going through gravel.

The tire size is 245/75/16. I know i posted this pic before but its the few pics of my jeep i have right now.

You think your obsessed, my jeep hasent been out of the garage in over a week. I detailed it for 3 days, inside and out(for 3 days), and now Im not letting it come out until I leave for college in another week. That way I can get plenty door dings while parking in an awesome college parking lot! Im hoping with my lift, and then later on this year putting my big tires on, no one will be able to hit anthing above the little door bumps.

My gernerals seem to do good in mud. I had it in about 6in of the crap, they seem to be alittle more aggressive than the average A/T though. Thus why they are so loud.
