It's the other way around. Still dividing by the same number of gallons used. Just dividing into a bigger number. It's miles/gallon.

If that is true then what do you have to do to set the od right. From what I have been figureing I have only been getting about 15mpg or so.

Thats what I want to know also. I just reflashed my speedo, will that solve this or no?

How did you get your speedo recalibrated? From what has been discussed over the past year or so, the 2005-06's cannot be changed from stock sizes.

i'd like to know that as well... we took our jeep to the dealership and inquired about changing the computer to account for bigger tires... the guy actually took the time to look around in the computer for the seting and couldn't find it...

i've got one of those ScanGuage computers hooked up and you can account for tire size with it and it will figure the correct mileage... but it can't change the setting in the jeep itself.

The tech at my dealer took a couple of minutes to go through the menus and at first said that he could not find it. But I pressured him a little and he asked another tech who finally found it after about 20 minutes. He said it was under a menu that he would have never thought to look under. We went for a drive with my GPS and got it corrected.
