Nah, he just needs a couple new bumpers, a grill, new rocker panels, fenders, and four new doors. :P

Ha Ha! Buff right out...that's a good one.

Couldn't find any of the KJ. Maybe that's a good thing. If it was as jacked up as the Commander you know there would be pictures of it all over the net.

That just proves that with an experienced driver, ANY JEEP can go virtually anywhere. That Commander is beat to hell, but I'm sure the Jeep guys have lots of good stories, and photos! I'd like to see those sometime :D

By the way, as far as the YJ/TJ and XJ debate, I have seen what XJs can do everywhere I go, they make it through a lot of stuff. YJ/TJs also go through a lot of stuff. We shouldn;t knock others rigs in here.

While I've never done Rubicon, I'd be more than willing to try it. Trail running is all about drive lines and being patient. Maybe we couldn't get over everything due to clearance issues and being a LWB, but there's nothing to stop anyone from trying.

Looks to me like the Commander needs some armor. some boulderbars would have saved the rockers, a different bumper and more of a lift, maybe a grill gaurd. The rest is just cosmetic. After all it is not on the back of a roll off being towed out.

Just FYI, We have some members that have already run the Ruby in a couple of KJs. The key is slow and easy. Later...Clint
