measurements will tell you nothing at all, I can set a coil that is 14 inches tall next to one that is 12 inches and the 12 inch will give you more lift,

 What? I thought the taller the spring the more lift ya got 8) .

I realize that Tom, I was just kidding btw. What I am looking at is the height diffrence between my Rusty's (patooey!!) spring and an OME heavy duty spring. This will tell me in my own terms, what I need to know about the spring's steel and toughness.

If the diffrence is anything like my stock front's to the Rusty's fronts, well that was about a 2" diffrence right there. The KJ still rides the same on the front as before the lift, now I sit higher.

Rustys would have to be quite a bit taller due to being so soft/weaker than the OMEs , that is the way they acheive their lift is by lenghth

I thought you only needed two rear springs and one for the front!

Just didn't want to unpack everything....I got it all.

No bumpstops. Yet. I am planning on 245/70R16 BFG's (AT) so overall diameter of tire staying almost the same (225/75R16 now). Also regular travel OME shocks...not the N132L. However if I went with 245/75's i would certainly be adding bumpstops.

I'll get some measurements later tonight just for fun.

They sure are some tough lookin parts!

Uttles you still need or should have (to save your springs from stacking), bumpstops no matter if you are running a 20 inch tall tire or a 35 inch tall, tires dont have a thing to do with needing or not needing bumpstops

For you Diesel folks, pay attention to what you order.
I almost ordered the wrong springs.
Thankfully the CRD guys pointed out my folly.
I have 790's for the front, 948's for the rear.
The front shocks/struts need to be OME NS 131's.
Ranchos or OME for the rear.
Bumpstops, now the bumpstops, I do not know yet.

I am running stock front and rear bumpers and I just put on a Franki II with OME HD coils and OME long travel shocks. The ride is amazing. I figured why not go all HD so I have the option of upgrading the bumpers later. There doesn't appear to be any height gain over the MD coils either. I used hockey pucks in the rear for bmpstops, and I am still using the stock ones up front. My pre lift measurements are 18 1/4" from wheel center to fender and after the lift they are 22 1/4".

Yes the difference betwwen the OME gas and CRD springs has only been discussed a few hundred times on here, glad the CRD guys straightened you out though.
bumpstops , you don't know yet? :? :? :? :? :? just get them you need them and they are cheap insurance to keep you from stacking your springs.
