just make double sure you tell your wife it wasn't anything that she did or didn't do, and that you're going to fix it back better than ever

not enough wives/gfs wheel!

I told mine that I didn't care if she totaled mine in the process of wheeling, as long as she or anyone else doesn't get hurt in the process

KJ went to the shop yesterday, doesn't look too bad. Replacing both CV axles and both front coil overs. . . Will hopefully get some pics of the busted CV axle, and the destroyed left front coil over.

Very slightly used  Springs had 10,000 on them, struts had less than 2,000! Agreed the red paid was chipping off but their still great!

I was looking for these too recently since I blew a seal in my driver side strut. Jeep'n by Al listsJBA-9050S as their replacement part. That's where you got your Upper A-arms isn't it?

Hey, do you have access to the vehicle with the CV's off? I'm trying to find the correct size (Diameter) of the passenger side output spline. I put on a new CV and the snout is smaller than the new CV's female spline and the clip they keep giving me is too big and won't grab the shaft. Either I'm hosed, or the parts are wrong. Been 3x4 for too long...

Use only CVs from Jeep or remaned ones. It has been found that others are not long enough or the wrong size. NAPA for example has remaned ones for about 60 bucks and work great. Have installed a few of them with no problems.
JeepinbyAl has great UCAs by the way.

I got my NEW cv axles from Napa. . . Fit right in no problems. New were $90 with military discount.
You can get the refurb ones for alot cheaper if you bring back the old ones, but if they are trashed like my right front you might have to break the half shaft to get it out. . .
http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Results.aspx?Ntt=cv%20axle&Ntk=Keyword&N=599001+102004+50038+2038037
as far as measurements go # of Outboard Splines : 27
Inboard Spline Count : 27
Length : 24 7/16"

And I did finally get the KJ back woo hoo, been driving the Beast XJ to work for the last few weeks and the wifey isn't driving the KJ anytime soon unless its in 4 Lo and i am riding with her LOL. Both CVs replaced, and front coil overs.
