Highlighted the one I liked. I ran the KM2s in 245/75/16 on Renegade wheels. I liked them, but when the tread started to get bare the tires would slip in the rain. I had to take off easy if the roads were wet cause I'd slide. Overall, good MT and does good off-road.

Another option for a wheel/tire combo is go to 15" wheel with 31x10.5x15 tire. The only 15" I know that works with the KJ is a 15" Cragar steel wheel. I currently run 15" steel Cragars with 31x10.5x15 Interco Trxus MTs. Since my KJ is black, the wheel/tire combo really sets off my Jeep.
It's a matter of finding what wheel/tire combo best suits your needs.
About the lift kit, go with OME and a few rear upper isos on the back to level out with the front. You'll have a KJ that looks and rides great. It wouldn't hurt either to buy JeepinByAl's upper a-arms.

I went with the Frankenlift (OME components) and installed it last weekend, jeep looks good. I'm really trying to figure out if there will be rubbing issues with the tire I select to go with. I don't want to hammer the pinch welds down but don't want rubbing also, so trying to walk that fine line.

My pinch welds are hammered down. If you stay with a 16" factory Liberty wheel, the biggest tire you can go with is 245/75/16. There will be minor rubbing, unless you do a little trimming. Hammering down the pinch welds help alot, but you don't want to do that.

Sorry, I forgot to include I was looking to put the tires mentioned on the Rubicon wheels which is 8" wide vs. 7" wide like our stock liberty wheels.

You'll be fine. Just make sure you buy the TJ Rubicon wheels, not the JK Rubicon wheels.

Do you have any pictures of your Jeep?

it it was me and you have a 2.5 lift i would go with 265/70/16 they require very minor trimming up front and look really good with a wide stance on the moabs if your not going to wheel that hard, but if you plan on wheeling it i would go with 245/75/16

Looks nice!

SOO, what does a CRD frankenliftII premium actually come with? Just OME coils and shocks pre assembled??

OME front coils and struts (pre assembled), OME rear springs and long travel shocks and daystar rear bumpstops. I don't know the spring numbers but I believe they are the heavy duty springs all around, and there is a $125 core charge for OEM top plates. You will also need to relocate a rear brake line. You can purchase a bracket or make one yourself. The lift add 2.5 to 3" of lift and will level the jeep out. I did get the 1/2 spacers for the rear in case I wanted to put the factory rake back in but did not put them in.

It took me about 3/4 of a Saturday to complete (started at 9am and finished at 7pm with lunch and a tool run), I think the hardest part was installing the rear springs as I didn't want to use a bottle jack to force the rear axle downward, I opted for spring compressors which worked fine. I should also add, I have access to a two post lift which really helped and I did have help for the front end since you need to split the ball joint and take quite a bit apart. The ride is much improved and at least on my CRD it needed either the lift or to replace the OEM shocks and struts since the ride was jarring and rough.

Okay, so it's the same set up on mine!

Confusing sometimes because I guess it's not really "franken" :frankie: any more, since it is purely OME components (minus bump stops and brake line).

It looks like yours is a tad taller in front (mine is too) because of the heavy front coils.

By the way, if you notice your drivers side rear being any lower (when measuring from center of hub) post up here!

What's next on your list, a front bumper to level out your jeep

Yeah, I did notice the driver side rear is a bit lower. I thought the lift would level it out, any ideas what it could be? It's kind of annoying now that I notice it again.

I think I've decided to go with the 245/75/16's on the Moab wheels to minimize rubbing. However I realized that they are not much taller than the Destination LE's I have on them now, oh well.

No facts, but maybe the OEM CRD springs are rated differently, and ARB (OME) just makes one rate for gas/crd? I haven't heard too many gassers complain...

I just plan on throwing in a extra rear Iso to level it out, not BIG deal, just minor annoyance.

Post pics when you get the new wheels!

Drivers side on gassers are lower also , I have mine with an extra little bit of lift on the drivers side to compensate for it though
OME 790 (CRD) springs are rated at 500 lb
OME 927s ( Heavy Duty) are rated at 400 lb
stock CRDs are rated at 410 lb

So what is a rear iso and where can I get one? I'm not familiar with them.

Got asked this by a buddy and don't know the answer. When I get new wheels, do I need to get new air pressure sensors? Or can I reuse the existing ones? Also, do the batteries in the factory wheel sensors need to be replaced ever?

You can reuse the wheel sensors on OEM Liberty wheels. Not sure on aftermarket wheels. Costs an arm and a leg to get them switched over though. :dizzy:

What is the part number for the OEM repalcement Tire Pressure Sensors? I'm curious of the cost of the replacements and if anybody knows if I could put a set of sensors in the Moabs and keep the sensors in the original rims and have them both work if I swap wheels out or not.
