I reprogram, and reflash computers quite a bit,and I can tell you that not only is it expensive, but you can also create other problems in areas of anti-lock brakes, shift points, ect. The best way to solve this issue is with a speedo recalibrater.you can buy them at places like Summit Racing. They are about 150.00,but will allow you to recalibrate any time you want to change tire size or shift points. And if you change your mind as often as I do,in the long run you'll save alot of $$$$$ in reprograming fees. You never know when you might want to return to stock for resale purposes,or go to a bigger tire cause you found that dream lift of 5plus inches.   Here is what they look like.

Thanks Ron,

I ran a couple of the website tire size calculators and the Speedo isn't off too bad; about 2.5 mph at 60 mph. But it would have been nice to have it done at the dealer. I will take a look around for the speedometer calibrator as you suggest, though I am a little apprehensive about getting into this too far!

But I certainly appreciate the response and info!
