Ted,

I blew it, I didn't know you needed them by this weekend. (Ted is the first to purchase the SS braided brake lines (DOT approved)). So not to disappoint you on your birthday, I express mailed them to you, you will have the lines by 3:00 tomorrow.

Al

Just to let you all know, I have recieved one concern. On a 2004 KJ with the Skyjacker lift, the right side could not be adjusted and the top of the tire was tilted out (the way I understand its noticable, but not that bad)with the adjustments to the max. This is the first problem I heard of. The other arms sold to Skyjacker owners seem to be fine. Not to cast doubt on the my arms, but I will this type of feed back I need.

Just in case I hadn't told you already, my arms work great, and my alignment is now true for the first time in 4 years. I even have room for adjustment still.

Also the brake lines look good to lots of flex room!

Ted,

The brake lines went in without a hitch? They are neat units aren't they! The guys did a great job making them. Those are 2 inches longer than stock, to allow for the lifted KJ's.

I switch to cable modumb (yes dumb). And since the co. doesn't have our paper work, I can't ans all the e-mails about the a-arms.

So here it goes....

The welder made two sets over the weekend, one was sent out today to Chad Page, the other was the custom 3 inch drop set I needed for my 5" lift experiment. The welder has committed to 10 sets by the end of this week. As they come in I will send them out. I know this doesn't have to do anything with the group buy, but I rec'd about 7 orders this weekend. I will send them out to the most needy. At least three of you said that their uppers were completly shot, and were waiting on me.

By the way, you will be getting the new and improved set with a larger (better than the NASCAR ball joint bung we were buying) ball joint bung and press in fittings for the bushings.

I have mine KJ at around 4 inches. The top of the tire is tilted in ever so slightly, not enough to wear the tire. At that lift height you will get spring and a-arm contact. as I have indicated, the back of the ball joint bung hits, not the joint or the boot. In addtion, the spring will contact the body.

Hi Al, I would like to get in on the group buy. To install these I would have to completely un-install and then re-install my front suspension, right?

All you need to do is remove the upper arms and replace. easier said than done. See Ted's post (usafcop) in the tech section to get a better idea. The hardest part is un-bolting the upper arms from the frame. The brake lines are in the way, and you will need to remove the air box and battery. When you install the new arms make sure the bolts are real tight, if they are loose, they make all kind of noise.

I'm here and just waiting for you to tell me where and/or how to send the payment for those bad boys. Can't wait to get them on and replace my tires with some that aren't all worn in patches due to the stock control arms wearing out.

Thanks Al

How tight is "real tight"? Got the torque? Do you have "estimate" time to complete? I'll probably get the All-J guys to do the wrenching :D
